Dr. Latoya McNabb is a 2016 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. She also completed her undergraduate at Tuskegee University, majoring in Animal Sciences.
Dr. McNabb has worked with several different species of animals, but her passion is exotics. She is the proud owner of two ferrets and two snakes, whose names are Sammie, Sophie, Sonny, and Snow.
Before joining the Cat Care family in June 2016, she worked at many small animal hospitals in Atlanta. She also interned at Zoo Atlanta and Atlanta’s only all exotic animal hospital. She has traveled to Nicaragua to perform spays and neuters to help control their feral animal population. She also loves to participate in community service and occasionally volunteers with the Atlanta Humane Society’s “Pets For Life” organization.
Dr. McNabb believes in providing the best medicine and care for her patients. She is a lover of all species of animals and does not believe one animal’s life is more important than another’s life. She says “Animals bring joy and unconditional love into our lives and they deserve our love and respect.”
